William M. McKeon, attorney on Maui since 1984, represents clients in complex commercial litigation, including real estate, business, construction and personal injury disputes in all the courts in Hawai’i. Mr. McKeon also advises and represents clients in real estate and business transactions.

Mr. McKeon was previously with Paul Johnson Park & Niles, Attorneys At Law, A Law Corporation, for over 26 years, including 19 years as a shareholder and 8 years as president, before becoming a founding member of McKeon Sheldon Mehling.

 

Keri C. Mehling practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, real estate, construction defects and administrative law.  Ms. Mehling’s experience has predominantly been in the area of complex litigation where she has assisted in the management and successful resolution of claims involving catastrophic personal injury, and multi-million dollar real property, construction and environmental claims.

She assists clients in creating business entities and structures for new and growing ventures, whether it be a non-profit or for-profit corporation or limited liability company.

 

Rebecca O. Filipović is currently licensed to practice law in the State of California and will be sitting for the Hawaii State Bar in 2019. Ms. Filipović’s experience has been predominantly in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, governance, and intellectual property.

Since joining MSM, Ms. Filipović has expanded her practice to specialize in intellectual property. Specifically, Ms. Filipović has prepared and prosecuted numerous trademarks with the U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office, successfully arguing against findings of confusion. She assists clients in protecting and policing their marks through cease and desist letters and assists in preparing non-disclosure agreements, licenses, settlement agreements and service agreements.
