In 2002, Danny Co-Founded Skyline Eco-Adventures on Maui’s Historic Haleakala Ranch with his father Buck Boren. Skyline was the First Commercial Zipline operation in the United States, in the years since 2002 an estimated 400 – 500 zipline operations have opened across the country. Today Skyline is Hawaii’s largest zipline operator, with tour locations on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island – Skyline is also an Authorized Concessionaire of Haleakalā National Park, operating bus and van tours into the park daily.
Environmental sustainability has always been at the heart of Skyline; the company is a proud member of 1% For The Planet – having donated over $1.5 Million to Charity over the last 17 years, and since 2007 has operated as a Carbon Neutral business. Danny was recognized as the Mayor’s Small Business Person of the Year in 2014, a Hawaii Business Magazine 20 For The Next 20 Winner in 2014, and as the SBA Business Person of The Year for The County of Maui in 2015. Skyline Eco-Adventures has been named one of Hawaii’s Best Places To Work for 8 years, and has won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence every year the Recognition has been given.
